Wood Re-Covered C3

I always thought it would be neat to replace the original leatherette covering of a C3 with some wood veneer.  My dad works in the finishing room of a cabinet shop, so he picked up a scrap piece of cherry veneer.  I then spent a number of hours with a pair of heavy-duty scissors, razor blade, and a dremel in order to form the veneer to the proper shape.  Once it was done, I took it back to dad who then put a professional-grade finish on it.  Here are some photos of the end result.  Enjoy!
